Zoran Mamic, Head Coach of Al Ain, underscored the fact that his team’s most important gains out of the match against Sharjah were the level of the trio “youngsters”: Saeed Juma’ah, Mohammed Khalfan and Suleiman Nasser. He said, “Personally, I am so pleased with their performance in the pitch.”
He added, “Al Ain deserved to win the match despite the difficult conditions we faced in terms of absences due to injury and suspension. I think it is not easy to appear at a progressive level by the end of the season, especially in light of current high temperatures and humidity.”

In his response to a question on the secret behind the elevated tempo of Al Ain’s performance during the second half, he stated that, “Indeed, we have made several changes to our starting line-up against a team that adopts the fast-paced transformation and organization in the midfield and defense lines. Additionally, we missed the services of our midfielder, Ahmad Barman and we do not have the right number in the bench to enhance our technical options in the current stage. As the time passed, the match tempo became higher and we were able to take the lead and defeat the home team.”

Commenting on another question on taking advantage of the mistakes of Al Sharjah defense line, he said, “The reality confirms the superiority of Al Ain’s front line against Al Sharjah’s back line. Also, the reality requires us to see things by means of balanced standards when analyzing situations and we have to admit that there are drawbacks in Al Ain’s back line and we are required to fix them during the coming period.”
