Congratulated Saudi Arabia National Team on Qualifying for the World Cup

Zoran Mamic, Head Coach of Al Ain FC said, “We are very pleased to participate in today’s match against Al Hilal because it is one of the greatest football confrontations featured by being strong, equal in performance, stimulating and entertaining particularly it combines two big team and will be held on one of the best football stadiums in the continent amidst large crowds.”
“We are required to show the best performance against our opponent and exhibit our true fighting spirit along with high concentration and possession of the ball and not to give the home team the chance to make use of the spaces in the pitch,” he added.
Commenting on a question regarding his team’s chances to qualify following the goalless draw in Al Ain City, he said: “Our target in the last match was definitely to win, but my team did well and it was not easy to achieve positive result specially after sending off a player. However, we will play this second round looking forward to achieving a strong result that guarantees our qualification for the Asian semi-finals with due respect for Al Hilal and its technical team headed by Coach Diaz.”
As for Al Hilal absences, he said: “I think it is not important issue for me and it does not represent the required motivation for us as we have the same situation. By the end of the day, we have a match played by 11 players against another 11 players!”
He concluded by saying, “I spent very happy moments in Saudi Arabia and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone on the Greens qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.”
