Al Ain Croatia’s head coach Zoran Mamic put an accent on the fact that Al Ain will do everything to win Spain’s Real Madrid in the final match of FIFA Club World Cup.
“Real Madrid is the biggest team in the world, but we will spare no effort in tomorrow’s match. We deserved to be in the final as we did not qualify by chance,” Zoran said in the pre-match press conference.

He added: “For sure, the clash match against Real Madrid will not be an easy one as my team is so exhausted given that we were playing a match every 3 days.”

“We will play highly motivated and to reflect the actual high level of our team and evolution of the UAE football.”

Responding to a question that in the semi-final match, Bale scored his hattrick from the left side and that Al Ain is expected to suffer given that Marcello will be there while Al Ain players are exhausted, he said: “Real Madrid’s strength is in their full squad. It is not only Marcello who can make the difference; even the defenders Raphaël Varane, Sergio Ramos and Daniel Carvajal are dangerous.

“We do not want to focus on the left side only, but to concentrate on the performance of the whole squad and play collectively and players have to prove themselves in this match. I am sure by the collective spirit we will perform well and achieve the best positive result.”
He added: “It is known that Real Madrid is not at their best levels this season and faces several difficulties. Yet, for me they still the biggest team.”

On pressures they might face against the Real Madrid, he said: ““I don’t think Real Madrid will think it will be an easy match,” the Croat said. “Because in the past last few years and in all history Real Madrid shows that in the final they always play at the highest level. Indeed, we will do everything, and we need to be luck in the coming match.”

On the fatigue and exhaustion that the players suffer from, he said: “Playing 4 matches in 10 days is for sure difficult, but as I stated earlier my players are highly motivated and will do everything in this match.”

Zoran hailed the performance of Al Ain goalkeeper Khaled Eisa by saying he is the best goalkeeper in UAE and enjoys the qualities of speed and talent. “In our opening match against Team Wellington he asked me what he shall do and said to him you have to focus and be patient and he will do it. He was the man and save his net two occasions, i.e. against Wellington and River Plate.”
