Al Ain FC Croatia’s head coach Zoran Mamic stressed that his team will have a new challenge in the league when they receive Dibba Al Fujairah FC in AGL matchweek 11 this coming Thursday at Tahnoon bin Mohammed Stadium in Qattara. He stated in the pre-match press conference dedicated for this match: “Our opponent is a good team despite the fact they are placed last in the standing table compared to their performance. Indeed, the team played well in all matches they lost; therefore, we have to be highly focused and so cautious during the whole 90 minutes.”

He added: “We are required to show up our best performance to snatch the three points. This also requires the players to redouble their efforts to be able to achieve our goals.” He said that there are people who think that the team’s mission against Dibba will be a piece of cake, but Al Ain squad do understand what they are meant to do since the kick-off whistle until the last minute.

On the expected absences in the coming confrontation, he said: “Amer Abdul Rahman will not play due to the injury he had during the recent UAE National Team away training camp. As for the rest of his teammates, they are fully ready, but we must wait until we conclude our last two training sessions to assess their readiness and fitness, given that certain players suffer from flue.”
