Zoran: We have to Keep Going with Our Great Performance and Results
“My team is required to keep going with their great performance and achieve the desired positive results in the Arabian Gulf Cup,” Zoran Mamic said in the pre-match press conference dedicated for matchweek 6 of the Arabian Gulf Cup between Al Ain and Emirates. He stressed: “Our match against Emirates will be the last in the group stage of the Cup. We had already played high level four matches in this competition and we are aiming to exhibit an honourable performance matches the expectations and prove Al Ain’s superiority.”
Commenting on a question if he is planning to give the opportunity for new young players during Sunday’s match, he said: “Certainly, I will select a certain number of players who did not have the chance to play in the Cup League as a test of their potentials and skills and to present themselves well to the fans. Personally, I have full confidence in my squad to achieve the desired goals with all due respect for the opponent’s aspirations.”
