The flight took approximately 14 hours and a half, followed by ground transportation for approximately 45 minutes, heading to the teams residency headquarters.

Despite the exhaustion caused by the long travel and the timing difference of more than eight hours between the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America, Al Ain first football team’s coaching staff, led by the Serbian head coach Vladimir Ivić, preferred to hold the minor training session on the evening of the same day, this decision is considered as a step that aims to stimulate the players’ blood circulation stream, as well as to achieve a gradual start the purpose of which is to mentally and physically adapt to the atmosphere of the tournament’s schedule, as a part of the carefully considered coaching strategy.
