Hernán Crespo: Our task is not easy… we’re ready to the challenge vs Egypt’s Al Ahli
During the introductory press conference for his team’s match vs Egypt’s Al Ahli, Al Ain Argentine coach, Hernán Crespo, said: “We’re very proud to be in Cairo as the champions of AFC Champions League and the representatives of the Emirati football. We’re ready to do our best vs the African champions, Egypt’s Al Ahli, in this historical task for Al Ain.”
“We are well aware of the importance of this match within the Intercontinental Cup in its first version, so we are looking forwards to show up our honorable performance consistent with our ambitions and the aspirations of our fans everywhere and we do wish success for our team. We’re well aware of Egypt’s Al Ahli power, distinguished squad, and influential fans. The task will not be easy but we do have the capabilities required to reach our goals”, he continued.
“We’re well aware that we did not start very well in our local season, because we were not lucky in some matches despite performing very well,” he added.
Commenting on a question about Soufiane Rahimi’sbest position, he said: “He is a distinguished playerin every position and actually the best even if he plays as a goalkeeper.”
