All teams who play vs Al Ain give more than 100 percent of their performance

Hernán Crespo: We need to show up the spirit of triumphant tournaments during all matches we play, and we are ready to take on all upcoming challenges

Our task vs Saudi Al Nassr will not be easy… And we did not deserve to sustain defeat in our match vs Saudi Al Hilal

Hernán Crespo, the Argentinian manager of Al Ain, said that he is always emphasizing on his pride and appreciation for being present among the elite football clubs of Asia as the champion team of the Asian continent. We are also well aware that our tomorrow task vs Saudi Al Nassr will not be easy, because reality confirms that there are no easy football matches, so we are required to prepare very well, concentrate, and show up the spirit of triumphs.

Commenting on a question over the reason behind the decline in the team’s recent results, especially during the competitions of AFC Champions League football tournament, before taking on their match vs Saudi Al Nassr who is led by Cristiano Ronaldo, he said: “We are well aware of what is required from us in tomorrow’s match and we do have full confidence in our capabilities to realize our sought after goal at the moment, which is to qualify to the next stage of competitions of this tournament. Sometimes the team may be in need for the luck factor because we did not show up a somehow weak performance vs Saudi Al Hilal and we did not deserve to sustain defeat during that match. Also, we performed very well vs Qatari Al Sa’ad, but we did not show up the required performance vs Qatari Al Gharrafa. So, those who read reality on paper find out that we are only one or two points away from the team who, at the moment, are in the sixth position on the standings table.

He went on: “We have to show up the spirit of triumphant tournaments while taking on all our upcoming challenges. Al Ain was successful in imposing their respect on everyone, while all teams are keen to give more than 100 percent of their performance vs the champion team of Asia, so sometimes we must modify our style of play and to show up the spirit of triumphs.”
