Al Ain football club announced that the Portuguese defender, fábio Rafael Rodrigues Cardoso, has sustained an injury at the posterior muscle. He sustained this injury during his team’s match last week vs Saudi Al Nassr, which took place on the latter’s stadium during the fourth round of competitions of AFC Champions League for the elite.
The first team’s doctor, Dr. Nicholas Tzouroudis, further explained that the magnetic resonance imaging scan, which the player has underwent, confirmed that the player had sustained a second-degree injury in the posterior muscle, while he is scheduled to undergo a four-week treatment and rehabilitation course until he can return again to the team’s group training sessions.
