Al Ain Serbian coach, Vladimir Ivić, emphasized that the match against Al Wasl the day after tomorrow, Saturday, at Zabeel Stadium in the third round of ADNOC Pro League, represents a major milestone in our journey to achieving our goals. He confirmed that pressure is a natural component of the path of great clubs.
“We’ve played four official matches this season and I haven’t felt any additional pressure at it doesn’t emerge from outside, but from our internal spirits, and from the winning mindset that we must always maintain. In each match, we’ve a definite goal: Winning and achieving the three points.” Ivićadded.
Regarding the offensive efficiency of the team, he stated: “SoufianeRahimi’s absence is definitely significant, but we’ve created numerous chances and scored six goals so far. Laba has scored four goals in three matches, which is an excellent rate. We trust all our players’ capabilities to score as well, as the responsibility is collective for the whole team, including the midfield and defense, not just the strikers.”
Regarding the readiness of the international players and Nassim Chadli, he said: “We’ve five international players joining their national teams, traveling long distances, so their late return poses a challenge, but we will choose the most 100% fit lineup, even if that imposed some surprises. The most important issue is that we go through match injury-free and fully prepared.”
