Ivić: Al Ain’s triumph over Al Urooba is reasonable..While our sought after goal is to correct our path

Vladimir Ivić, who is the Serbian head coach of Al Ain’s first football team, congratulated his team players over claiming victory over their guest football team Al Urooba. So, through the following statement he emphasized that: “Today’s victory is not only considered as an exceptional accomplishment, but it is also considered as a reasonable result that comes in line with the name and position of “The Boss” as well as its history. The Serbian head coach also emphasized over the great importance of maintaining concentration and discipline all over today’s match’s lifespan.

Through his remarks which he maid after the match’s full-time, Ivić said the following statement: “I am totally satisfied with our team’s performance through the match’s second half, but I am not satisfied with our team’s performance through the match’s first half, which was not easy in terms of play, because we did mot manage to carry out the laid out plan as we should have done, there have also been an apparent decline in the total ratio of concentration, in addition to the absence of energy and movement. Al Ain is considered the biggest football team within the United Arab Emirates, so we have to play every match with the same spirit and discipline, starting from the first minute of the match’s lifespan up to the match’s final whistle.”

Al Ain’s Serbian head coach explained that the team was short of ideas and was unable to make the right and prudent decisions in terms of the decisive passes through the match’s first half, he also pointed out that the mental confusion was reflected on the team’s overall performance on the pitch, then our team’s performance has totally changed after scoring the match’s first goal with the onset of the match’s second half.

He also added the following statement: “After scoring the match’s first goal everything became easy in terms of the mental aspects of play. We managed to score three goals in 15 to 20 minutes of play, which gave us the required confidence to continue playing with more freedom and better control over the rhythm of playing on the pitch.”

Ivić also emphasized that his team will start its preparations for the upcoming match with much bigger concentration, so he said the following statement: “Claiming this triumph is something natural, and it is not considered something out of the ordinary. We need to have some rest, then we have to seriously prepare for the upcoming stage of competitions.”

Al Ain’s Serbian head coach also pointed out that the team’s current position on the tournament’s standings table does not fulfill the sought after ambitions, so he said the following statement: “Al Ain is a football team that is always competing to occupy the leading positions on the tournament’s standings table. We lost some important points out of some matches in which we should have claimed victory, while the most notable of which is our match vs Al Wahda football team, as well as the truly disappointing match vs Dibba Al Hisn, in which we deserved to claim victory.”

Al Ain’s Serbian head coach concluded his speech by saying the following statement: “Our sought after goal is clear: Which is to reach the highest possible position on the tournament’s standings table. So, we need to keep working hard without stopping, we also need to correct the path with full concentration and determination.”
