Al Ain’s head manager confirms the readiness of “The Boss” to take on its upcoming match vs Al Rayyan football club of Qatar

Leonardo Jardim: I did not deliver any statement to any of the media outlets regarding Al Ain needs for players

Leonardo Jardim, who is the Portuguese head manager for Al Ain’s first football team, denied that he had delivered any statement to any media outlet that the team is in need for seven players or even only one player, pointing out that he did not speak at all about the transfer market. Leonardo Jardim also clarified that since taking charge of his responsibilities as the head manager of Al Ain’s first football team he never spoke about the need at his team to sign contracts with players, he also emphasized that his communication over the coaching matters is exclusively done with the club’s administration.

In his speech over tomorrow’s match, the Portuguese manager stressed over the great importance of this upcoming match, pointing out that this match will not be easy for the two teams, but Al Ain football team is capable of being in advantage over its guest football team of Al Rayyan of Qatar and to claim all of the match’s three points, so the team can keep its chances present in qualifying to the next stage of competitions of AFC Champions League for the Elite football tournament.

During the introductory press conference, which took place today on Sunday at Hazza Bin Zayed stadium to unveil the preparations of Al Ain football team of the united Arab Emirates to face Al Rayyan football team of Qatar, Leonardo Jardim said the following statement: “This match will be powerful for us and for them, because both teams need to claim victory out of this match, which makes this match thrilling inside the pitch. From our side we will not spare an effort in order to claim victory out of this match and to claim all of the match’s three points, this is because we want to keep competing in the Asian football tournament.”

The head manager of Al Ain first football team confirmed that his team’s concentration is now focused on its next match vs Al Rayyan football team of Qatar, he also emphasized that there is no other other choice in this match but to claim victory. He added that they are trying to compete over the title of the local ADNOC Pro League football tournament, but they were not very successful and lost several points which made their task even more complicated, so they are required now to fight in the competition race within the Asian football tournament, hoping that they can continue to play in the Asian football tournament.

Leonardo Jardim justified the presence of a difference in the starting lineups of Al Ain football team from one match to the other by saying that his team is participating in several football tournaments, which exposes some of his player to sustain injuries, and each time he would be forced to engage substitute players and to to adopt a rotation policy among the players. He added the following statement: “Yahia Nader Moustafa Elsharif (who plays as a defensive midfielder), Bandar Mohammed Mohammed Saeed Al Ahbabi (who plays as a rught back defender), Alejandro Sebastián Romero Gamarra (nicknamed Kaku and who playes as an attacking midfielder or as a winger), Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba (who plays as a forward player), and now Matías Emanuel Segovia Torales (who plays as a winger) have already been absent from the team’s starting lineups. So, we have no choice but to compensate for the absent players due to injuries, which is something that may suggest that we are deliberately changing the team’s starting lineups.”
