Leonardo Jardim, who is the Portuguese manager of Al Ain’s first football team, emphasized that his team has showed up with a distinctive performance during its match vs its guest team of Al Nasr, which took place in the 13th round of competitions of ADNOC Pro League, where Al Ain managed to score four goals out of seven available chances before the visiting team’s net. We are working hard to keep moving forward with the same approach, so I think that the starting lineups with which we started today’s match was good, where we managed to score two goals by the starting players, then we scored two more goals by the young players.”
Over the coaching strategy which he adopted and the changes he made on the team’s starting lineups, and whether its aim was to surprise the head coach of Al Nasr football club he said the following: “We did not seek to surprise anyone, but we concentrated on the analysis of the competing team’s performance, then we adopted a totally striking performance, while imposing our dominance over the midfield. I have no idea if the competing team was surprised or not, but we did our duty completely.”

He was not injured, but he is totally ready. But he did not participate in the match as a starting player, because our plan relied on striking balance between the defensive and forward lines of play from the match’s kick off, while placing him on the substitutes benches was for coaching reasons.”
