The “international” player, Khalid Essa, who is the goalkeeper of our national football team and the goalkeeper of Al-Ain football club, confirmed the readiness of “The Boss” to take on their upcoming top match on the stadium’s benches and on the stadium’s pitch, this match that will bring together Al Ain vs Al Wasl on the day after tomorrow’s evening at Hazza Bin Zayed stadium, explaining: “We are motivated to take on our next match and we ask Al Mighty Allah to assist us in keeping up the big results, which have been the defining feature of our team’s performance during our previous matches.”
In response to a question about the team’s atmospheres during the current season, he said: “Reality confirms that positive results reflect the true image of the team’s atmospheres, but this doesn’t mean that there are no issues on the ground, taking into consideration that all team’s all over the world have issues, because football is a game that relies on leveraging on all issues, so if issues are not present no teams would have taken any goals in their nets. However, after every match, we would be looking forward to improving our performance in reliance on our manager’s directives and the follow–up of our coaching staff, so day after day these issues keep diminishing and we are still in the beginning of the current season. We are also required to keep up those atmospheres, the progressive outcome, and working on realizing our sought–after goals during the current season which are to keep up claiming big results.”
Commenting on the important motive which is represented by the team’s big result in the Intercontinental Cup before taking on the day after tomorrow’s match, he said: “Certainly, Pro League’s matches are totally different than the team’s offshore matches, but ADNOC Pro League and its title is considered one the team’s goals in the current season, while I think that Al Wasl is one of our competitors and we will meet them on our pitch and among our fans, so claiming the match’s three points is very important and we are capable of satisfying our fans on Thursday inshallah.”
Khalid Essa concluded his speech during the introductory press conference for his team’s match vs Al Wasl, saying: “I cannot only talk about Al Ain fans during the current season, because they spared no efforts while supporting the team during the past seasons and all over the history of our club, while words of gratitude cannot be enough for them, besides Al Ain football club have a big fans base all over the Arab Homeland and the number of our fans have increased during the past season, so we ask Al Mighty Allah to assist us and guide our team’s path so we can be capable of satisfying the new generation and the previous generations of “The Boss” fans by the end of the current footballing season.”
