Leonardo Jardim, the Portuguese manager of Al Ain, confirmed that his team’s match vs Ittihad Kalba was not easy at all. He explained: “I think that the proceedings and mistakes which we committed are considered an important lesson to learn from. We took three goals in our net after committing clear mistakes, but our reaction after taking the second goal was positive, especially after the substitutions we made, so we were capable of returning and scored three goals.”
Leonardo Jardim added: “The style and character of our players was good, but we had to work on not receiving three goals at any match, disregarding the level of the competing team.”
