Al Ain head coach praised the performance of “The Boss” players during the match’s first half
Leonardo Jardim: We are required to work hard in order to improve our performance during the upcoming official matches
We were under the impact of declined fitness and concentration levels during the match’s second half
Leonardo Jardim, the Portuguese manager of Al Ain, emphasized that his team was capable of realizing the most important sought after goal during today’s match, explaining:“We showed up as required during the match’s first half and our players performed very well, especially in terms of the organizational work on the level of all lines of play, which seemed to be close to each other according to the game’s laid out plan vs the competing team, so we were capable of being in the lead over the competing team with three goals with no response.”
He went on: “During the match’s second half our performance declined due to the decrease in the fitness and concentration levels. Certainly, we do need a huge amount of work in order to improve our performance and to claim better results during the upcoming official matches. Personally, I am happy with the performance of my team as well as the performance of the players in today’s match.”
