Mohammed Ebrahim Al Mahmoud, who is a member at the board of directors of Al Ain club, confirmed that the preparations of “the Boss” are going on according to an accurate technical plan, which has been laid out in coordination with the coaching staff, so he said the following statement: “We giving the utmost degrees of importance to this stage of the boot camp, we are also working hard to provide all of the reacquired factors for our team to reach success. This boot camp represents a pivotal milestone to bolster harmony and to elevate the physical readiness among players, in addition to the technical training sessions which will contribute in formulating the team’s identity for the upcoming sporting season.”
Over what have been circulated through the media outlets about some players whose names are linked to transfer, Al Mahmoud clarified through the following statement: “We reconfirm that the players Alejandro Sebastián Romero Gamarra (nicknamed Kaku), Mateo Sanabria, Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba, and Erik Jorgens de Menezes will continue to play with the team through the upcoming new season, so they are totally out of the transfer market’s calculations. The team’s lineup has been adopted and has been closed in coordination with the coaching staff in line with the requirements of the upcoming stage. While the large number of offers that have been recently received by Al Ain football club for a large number of players reflects the high quality and the capabilities of the team’s players. This also confirms that the participation of Al Ain football club through the competition race of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 football tournament opened new horizons, which represents the advanced level of development of football in the region. As for the professional participation of Mohamed Awadalla, who plays as a forward player, through the competition race of the Polish PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa, it comes as a clear proof over this matter.”
Mohammed Ebrahim Al Mahmoud, who is a member at the board of directors of Al Ain club, added the following statement: Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba, who is the Togolese forward player for Al Ain first football team, and Alejandro Sebastián Romero Gamarra (nicknamed Kaku), who is an attacking midfielder for Al Ain first football team, are considered amongst the most prominent professional footballers in the ADNOC Pro League through the past sporting seasons, in addition to Soufiane Rahimi, who is the forward player for Al Ain first football team. Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba was crowned as the ADNOC Pro League’s top scorer despite being absent for several matches due to the injury. As for Alejandro Sebastián Romero Gamarra (nicknamed Kaku), he contributed with a ratio of more than 20 goals in every sporting season through the three most recent sporting seasons, which is considered a record number that reflects the player’s value and high quality.”
Over the renewal of Park Yong-woo, who is the South Korean defensive midfielder for Al Ain first football team, he said the following statement: “Park Yong-woo is considered one of the most disciplined players inside the pitch, he also had a role in claiming the title of AFC Champions League football tournament through the 2023-2024 sporting season. The decision to renew the contract came in coordination with the coaching staff after the player’s brilliant performance through the most recent 7 matches through the ADNOC Pro League. While the decision to include the four foreign players on the defensive line of play reflects our confidence in the head coach and the high quality of our players.”
Over the future of some players, he said the following statement: “We have received several offers for the two forward players Eisa Khalfan and Josna Loulendo, as well as the Moroccan player El Mehdi El Moubarik, those players are probably going to be loaned through the upcoming sporting season, while their destinations are going to be revealed through the upcoming few days.”
Over the team’s deals in the transfer market, he confirmed through the following statement: “We are in the process of signing a contract with a left back defender to be registered in the residents‘ category, while it is expected to announce the deal through the upcoming few days. This deal will be our last deal for the upcoming sporting season after the team has completed six deals before the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 football tournament kicks off.”
Al Mahmoud mentioned Al Ain first football team’s participation through the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 football tournament, so he said the following statement: “Despite dissatisfaction over the team’s results vs Juventus football club of Italy and Manchester City football club of the United Kingdom, the gap in capabilities between Pro Leagues and the football clubs were apparent, even though we emerged with several technical gains on which the future will be built. As for Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco, when performance levels were equal, our team appeared with its identity and technical quality.”
Mohammed Ebrahim Al Mahmoud, who is a member at the board of directors of Al Ain club, concluded his speech by saying the following statement: “We are well aware that our results through the competition race of the past sporting season were not up to the sought after ambitions, but our team managed to show up with a great deal of improvement through the last 7 rounds of competition, where they managed to score 12 goals and our net received only one goal from a free kick. This reflects the great deal of work by the coaching staff after the stoppage period, we also have full confidence in our coaching staff led by the Serbian head coach Vladimir Ivić for the sake of preparing the team with the most appropriate manner on the physical and technical levels before the upcoming season kicks off on the 16th of the upcoming month of August.”
