Commenting on a question about the validity of the offers he received before moving to Al Ain, he said:  “Actually, I received several offers from UAE clubs, which is normal for any player who seizes the opportunity and shows his best, but I preferred the best and most appropriate club for me. When I received an offer from a team as big as Al Ain, I must accept it and join Al Ain, so when I received Al Ain’s offer, I closed all negotiations with other clubs”.

Regarding his ambitions with the Boss “Al Zaeem”, he said: “I have great personal and group ambitions with Al Ain, but I believe that it will not be easy to reach, especially since I have a long journey to develop and reach a good status among the team’s players, as I joined a big team which requires that your first goal is to join the main squad to participate in matches, which will definitely improve my performance. Later, I forward to winning titles with Al Ain, which is normal with the big teams that provides me with the opportunity to participate in continental and international tournaments”.

Sékou began his football career as an amateur in his hometown of Mali, where he was playing football at the age of six and never expected to reach the professional level in his early years.
