Palacios continues to defend Al Ain badge until 2029
Sultan bin Hamdan: The renewal of Palacios’ contract is a continuation to the approach that aims to preserve the team’s most important pillars
Al Ain Football Club Company has announced the renewal of their 22-year-old midfielder, Matías Palacios, until 2029, so the player will continue to defend the team’s badge under the new contract for five years.
The player’s contract renewal decision has been based on the technical reports by the relevant committees of the team’s technical affairs and statistical and analytical processes that outlined his improved performance indicators.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Al Ain Football Club Company, applauded Palacios’ continuous improved performance and described the player as one of the team’s most important members locally and continentally, due to his positive impact with his teammates.
The Chairman of Al Ain Football Club Company said: “Al Ain is always keen to hold on tight to their distinguished players. The renewal of Palacios’ contract reflects a continuation to the approach that aims to maintain the team’s most important pillars. Moreover, it is a confirmation to the success of Al Ain future project, which continued to attract the best football talents within the lineups of the Academy teams and to improve their capabilities for bolstering the ranks of the national teams, in order to achieve the best results in international tournaments.”
