Rashid Al Mnai: The interaction of Al Ain community with Hafeet Sport Challenge surpassed all expectations
Rashid Musabbah Al Mnai, General Mangerof Al Ain city Municipality, witnessed this morning the inaugural ceremony of the Institutions Football Championship at Tahnoon bin Mohammed Stadium in Al Qattara, in the presence of Salem bin Hadhiram Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the Championship. The matches have been held among an exceptional sporting environment, embodying the concepts of solidarity and cooperation among community members, and witnessed the participation of a large number of Al Ain Club legends.
Al Mnai expressed his deep thanks, gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, for his noble patronage and continuous support for Al Ain community and provision of all means to ensure the success of sports and community initiatives. He emphasized that Hafeet Sport Challenge witnesses unprecedented interaction from various segments of community, highlighting the success of the event in enhancing the sportsmanship spirit and spreading the culture of community sports during the Holy Ramadan, so that it remains the most prominent sports event during Ramadan nights in Al Ain.
Al Mnai added that the public engagement with the Challenge, since its launch at the Al Ain Club for People of Determination and even the Governmental Institutions Championship, surpassed expectations, noting that the event created an enjoyable competitive environment that brought together all age groups under the umbrella of sports.
The Organizing Committee appreciates the partners’ efforts and approves increasing financial rewards for people of determination
The Supreme Organizing Committee of HafeetSport Challenge held an important meeting to discuss the performance of the 18 tournaments included in the largest event in the region. During the meeting, chaired by Salem bin Hadhiram Al Ketbi, the value of the financial prizes for winners in the People of Determination Championships has been increased, aiming at enhancing participation and motivating athletes.
Bin Hadhiram expressed his appreciation of the efforts made by the participating entities, including Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination which organized seven championships that attracted 900 athletes, in addition to the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Abu Dhabi Cycling Club, Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Abu Dhabi Police, who contributed to the success of the event and the consolidation of the community sports concept.
Cycling race starts tomorrow
Among the exciting competitions, the Organizing Committee of Hafeet Sport Challenge approved valuable rewards for the winners of the cycling race, scheduled to start tomorrow at 9 pm. The awards of the cycling race are considered the best in the regional community sports races, as participants were divided into four competitive categories, including nationals, public, men and women categories.

Al Ain “A” wins over Al Masry Team by three goals, and Generation 2003 loses to Agthia by four goals
The competitions of the Institutions Championship witnessed intense confrontations, as Al Ain “A” outperformed the Egyptian team with three goals, while Al Ain “B” team, which includes players from the 2003 generation, lost to Agthia with a 0-4 score. The UAE University team defeated the Higher Colleges of Technology 6-0, and the Czech Hospital tied with the Residency and Foreigners Affairs 1-1. Al Ain Municipality team achieved a great triumph over Al Ain Pharmacy with a 4-0 score, while the Department of Economic Development team managed to defeat Ithmar International Holding with the same score.
Esports finals at Hazaa Bin Zayed Stadium
Hazaa Bin Zayed Stadium will host the finals of Hafeet Challenge Esports Championship (EA FC 25) the day after tomorrow evening, where the it will witness an open audience attendance, after 221 players participated in the Championship and played 190 matches online.
Al Amerah qualifies for the Super Volleyball League amidst an exciting atmosphere
In front a large audience, the Volleyball Championship in Al Amera neighborhood witnessed exciting confrontations, as the Al Amera team managed to qualify for the Super Volleyball League after defeating Al Sad 26-24, and Al Salamat 24-20, confirming its place in the semi-finals.
Today, volleyball lovers are waiting for the announcement of the teams that have qualified for the Super League, as Al Qua’a and Bu Kirayyah will meet in the second group, while the second match will bring together Al Dahraand Al Wagan, and the two winners will qualify to compete for the second card of the Super League. In the Second Group, Al Hair team will meet Zakher, while Al Meryal will confront Al Masoudi, and the two winners will compete for the final card of the Super League.
