Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan coroneted “The Boss U16” football team with the title of the youth tournament
On today’s evening and at Al Qatarah’s Tahnon Bin Mohammed stadium, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crowned Al Ain football team with the title of the youth League, which is the tournament that is being organized by the football confederation for the U16 age category. This event came after the team’s deserved victory through the final stage of competition over Al Wasl football team with the score of 5-1.
“The Boss” decisively clinched the title with two rounds remaining for the tournament to conclude, so they continued to impose their hegemony over the football tournaments of age categories for the second consecutive season, to confirm the Ainawi base and the club’s approach in making the promising football talents.
The team played 21 matches through the season, where they claimed 19 victories and a two draws in two matches, and without any loses, so the team claimed 59 points in an exceptional career that is full with record numbers. The team scored 118 goals, within a ratio that exceeds 5 goals for each match, so they became the strongest forward line within the tournament, and with a difference of 44 goals to the closest competitor. Al Ain net received 18 goals, in a clear indication to the balanced performance between all lines of play.
On the individual level, Mohammed Rasool claimed the top position on the top scorers list with a score of 41 goals, then Competo Suliman came after him with 25 goals.
