Amongst global media attention and the official presence that reflects the great value of “The Boss” as the representative of the United Arab Emirates and as the champion of the Asian continent, on today morning (Wednesday, at 08:00 AM the United States of America time – 04:00 PM the United Arab Emirates time) the expedition of Al Ain first football team arrived at Washington D.C, the capital city of the United States of America. The team arrived to continue its preparations, which they started with the internal congregation from the first to the third of the current month of June, which included the medical checks and the morning and evening training sessions, in preparations to participate through the FIFA Clubs World Cup 2025 football tournament.
A number of members from the diplomatic corps were in attendance at Washington airport to welcome the delegation, they were led by Alia’a Majid Al Suwaidi, who is the deputy ambassador to the United States of America, Khalfan Al Dossari, who is the head of the consular services and citizens affairs department, in addition to representatives for the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), as well as a congregation of international media outlets and European news agencies, besides the American sports channels.
