The ‘Boss’ convoy returns to the “Dar Al Zain” on a private jet
Crespo grants the players a 48-hour rest, while Rahimi and Al-Mahdi are given ten days off.
Early this morning, the first team and reserve team delegation returned to the country from the Moroccan capital, Rabat, on a private plane, led by Mohamed Saif Al Ketbi, a member of the board of directors of Al Ain Football Club, via Al Ain International Airport.
Argentinian head coach Hernán Crespo has decided to grant the team a 48-hour rest, after which they will resume preparations for upcoming commitments in the “Dar Al Zain.” Additionally, the two international players, Soufiane Rahimi and Mehdi Mubarak, have been given a ten-day rest due to their participation with the Moroccan national team, which won the bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
It’s worth noting that “The Boss” team has spent 25 days in an external training camp in the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco, during which they played four friendly matches. The first match ended in a 3-3 draw against NahdatAthletic Zemamra, with Al Ain’s goals scored by Laba Kodjo, Kaku Alejandro, and Josna Abianfi. The second friendly match ended with a 1-3 loss to RS Berkane, with Laba Kodjo scoring Al Ain’s only goal. The third match saw Al Ain win 4-0 against KAC Kénitra, with goals from Matías Palacios, Bandar Al Ahbabi, Matías Segovia, and Josna Abianfi. The team concluded their friendly matches yesterday with a goalless draw against Raja Casablanca.
