Al Ain sports and cultural club of the United Arab Emirates has officially announced the signing of a new contract with the Serbian football manager Vladimir “Vladan” Ivić, who is 47 years old, to take over the task of managing the coaching affairs of Al Ain first football team. The contract duration is one sporting season and a half. It has been scheduled for the new football manager of “The Boss” to arrive at the United Arab Emirates on today’s evening, so he can be in charge of leading Al Ain first football team, starting from the training session which will be taking place tomorrow, on Wednesday.
Al Ain sports and cultural club welcomed the new football manager along with his assistant coaching staff, which is comprised of the following personnel: “The Serbian football coach Miloš Veselinović, who will be the assistant coach. The Italian football coach Matteo Lombardo, who will be the assistant coach, the coaching manager for the football academy, as well as the head coach for the U23 football team. The Greek coach Nikolaos Amanatidis, who will be the fitness coach. The Greek coach Cherestos Kelepikes, who will be the goalkeepers coach.” Then Al Ain sports and cultural club wished the new coaching staff success in their upcoming task in leading the first football team.
Al Ain football company has previously announced that they have reached an agreement with the Portuguese football manager Leonardo Jardim along with his assistant coaching staff over ending the contractual relationship between the two parties. Al Ain sports and cultural club extended its words of gratitude and appreciation to the Portuguese football manager Leonardo Jardim along with his assistant coaching staff over their exerted efforts during the past period of time, the club also wished them success in their future endeavors.

The Serbian football manager Vladimir “Vladan” Ivić started his football career as midfielder, where he played for several football clubs, the most notable of which are as the following:
- Fudbalski klub Partizan, often referred to in English as Partizan Belgrade football club
- Bursaspor Kulübü Derneği, commonly known as Bursaspor football club
- A.E.K. Football Club, known simply as A.E.K in Greece and AEK Athens internationally
After retiring from playing football, he moved into the field of coaching, then he started his coaching career with the Greek football club PAOK FC (short for “Pan-Thessalonian Athletic Club of Constantinopolitans”, and commonly known as PAOK Thessaloniki, PAOK Salonika or simply PAOK), where he led his team to claiming the title of the Cup of Greece. Then he took over the task of training Maccabi Tel Aviv football club, where he claimed the title of the local Pro League football tournament for two consecutive times. He also took over the task of training Watford Football Club of England in the year of 2020 and FC Krasnodar football club for the year of 2023-2024, then Al Ain sports and cultural club signed a new contract with him.
