Vladimir Ivić: Al Ain footnall team’s players possess the personality of champions and we came here to Iraq with an aim to come back home with the match’s three points

Vladimir “Vladan” Ivić, who is the Serbian football head manager of Al Ain first football team, emphasized that tomorrow’s match which will be brining his squad together with Al Shorta football team of Iraq, this match that will be taking place in the final round of competitions of the group stage of AFC Champions League for the Elite football tournament, which will be the final match for the team through the Asian tournament. The team’s head coach stressed that Al Ain football team of the United Arab Emirates came to Iraq to show up with its best performance on the stadium’s pitch.

Vladimir “Vladan” Ivić added the following statement: “We are looking forward to claim victory despite being knocked out of the competition race to claim the qualifying ticket to the next stage of competition. As for Al Ain football team’s players, they are well aware of the great value of this football tournament. And despite failing to qualify to the knock out stage of competitions of the Asian football tournament, we will be taking on this match with an aim to claim the match’s three points.”

In response to a question over the decline in the team’s performance through this current sporting season, in comparison with the past season when the team claim the title of AFC Champions League football tournament, Al Ain first football team’s head coach said the following statement: “I took on the task of training the team only a couple of days ago, so I do not think that talking about the past will be useful for us. But, I do have full confidence in the current players at my squad, who possess the personality of champions which enabled them to claim the title of the Asian football tournament.Today, our concentration is totally focused on claiming victory in our upcoming match vs Al Shorta football team of Iraq, with all due respect for the ambition of the competing team.”
