Ismail Ahmad, the administrator of Qatar’s El Jaish, pointed out that they have a yearning for reaching the AFC finals for the first time in their history building on the powerful start they made during the early stage of the competition.

Commenting on his team’s issues of missing some key players and the drop in the performance of others, Ismail said that each stage of the competition has its own challenges; “In fact we’ll be missing our top scorer Razzaq Hamadalla. Hopefully, we’ll manage to reshuffle our cards in a way that leads us to the finals,” he added.

He expected a large number of fans will be swarming into the stadium to support Qatar’s representatives to the AFC tournament and to encourage the players to make the dream of playing the finals come true.
Reflecting on tomorrow’s game, Ismail said: “I believe tomorrow’s game will mark El Jaish playing much better than in the first leg. As for the result, it’s quite difficult to predict, but it will be in favor of the high performing team.” He concluded.
