A Vibrant Ambience Marked the End of Ramadan Tolerance Football Tournament
Amidst lively atmosphere, Al Ain Club celebrated the end of the Ramadan Tolerance Football Tournament dedicated for the Al Ain Football Academy. The tournament was held in remembrance of its legends and great players Saif Bin Mohammed, Salem Saeed and Fahd Al Nuwais. The matches were held during 7-17 Ramadan for the Al Ain Football Academy junior team. The matches are scheduled to be held at the Club’s football fields, namely: Saif Bin Mohammed Field, Salem Saeed Field and Fahd Al Nuwais Field.
The teams were divided into three groups: Group A which includes U-18 and U-16 Football Teams, Group B which includes U-14 and U-15 Football Teams and Group C which includes U-13 “A” and U-13 “B”. Each group has been divided into 4 teams and all the 12 teams will be competing to win 3 separate titles.
The champs and winning teams were awarded by the end of the tournament. Mahdi Ahmed Team was crowned the Champs of the 1st Category, Ahmed Ftais was awarded the Best Player Award, Saif Rashid the Best Goalkeeper. Mahdi Ahmed Team was crowned the Champs of the 2nd Category, Nahayan Al Ashkari was awarded the Best Player Award, Ali Ka’bi the Best Goalkeeper. The 3rd Category winner was Salem Saeed Team, Diab Salem won the Best Player Award while Abdul Rahman Al Rumaithi won the Best Goalkeeper Award. Bader Hamdan was awarded the Best Player Award of the Tournament.
