ABDULLAH ALI UNVEILS AWARDS OF HBZ U-16 INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Abdulla Ali, Managing Director of Al Ain Football Academy, said: “9th April marks the tenth anniversary of the tournament scheduled to be held at Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Stadium in Al Qattara and Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, the architectural masterpiece, with the participation of various football schools. Certainly, hosting this number of guests here in UAE doubles our joy as they will experience and live the atmospheres of the UAE’s celebrations of the “Year of Zayed”, the founder of our beloved young country.”
Abdullah Ali indicated that the Tournament Organizing Committee has already approved the regulations of the tournament’s awards. It has been approved to grant the winner of the title the gold medals and $ 10,000, while the runner-up will win silver medals and $ 5,000. He also stated that it was decided to allocate a prize for the ideal team, the best player, the top scorer and the best goalkeeper as well as a prized for the best player in each game. All teams will be issued a certificate of participation in the 10th edition of the tournament.
