The Boss Squad’s Goals Are Crystal-Clear in Each Season and Fans Boost the Team’s Power

This morning, the Al Ain First Football Team has left Austria on a private plane heading to Al Ain City. The flight is scheduled to arrive at Al Ain International Airport at 09:30 pm.

The Boss squad concluded their one-month away pre-season summer training camp. was kicked off on 19 July in Bad Gögging City in Germany, where the first camp phase was held and ended on 31 July 2022. The second phase commenced on 31 July 2022 in Austria’s Geinberg City and concluded on 20 August 2022.

Friendly Matches

During the camp two stages, Al Ain Team played seven friendly matches. The squad won three matches while they lost also three matches and was held to draw only once. During the first stage, the team played two friendly matches against Hankofen-Hailing and Greuther Fürth of the Germany’s 4th division league. The Boss squad won the Germany teams 1-0 and 2-1 respectively. In the last two final headers played in the same day, morning and evening time, Al Ain played against Slovakia’s Raka Bratislava Team 2-1, and Austria’s Rapid Vienna Team 3-2.

Eight Goals

During the seven friendly matches played during the whole away camp, Al Ain squad scored eight goals while conceded 10 goals. The team head coach was keen to give all the players equal opportunities during the whole matches.

Al Ain Team goals were scored by Soufiane Rahimi “2”, Matias Palacios “2”, Jonatas de Santos “1”, Laba Kodjo “1”, Saeed Ahmed “1” and Ahmad Barman “1”.

The Boss New Contracts

During the summer transfer market, Al Ain Club signed new three players, namely: Ukrainian Andriy Yarmolenko, Argentine Matias Palacios and Moroccan El Mehdi El Moubarik. Meanwhile, the Club’s management decided to rejoin the on loan midfielder Falah Walid, who played for Khorfakkan Team.

Ahead of commencing the team’s summer away pre-season camp, the Club announced renewing the contract of the Ukrainian head coach, Sergiy Rebrov for one season.

Moreover, it was decided to renew the contracts of Yahiya Nader until 2026, Khaled Al Blooshi until 2026, and Erik Jorgens until 2025. Meanwhile, the contract of Tunisian Yassin Meriah and Argentine Christian Guanca left the team. As for the contracts of Rayan Yaslam, Jamal Maarouf, Ibrahim Al Kaabi, Ali Al Blooshi, Ali Eid and Mohammad Jamal, they were terminated amicably. While Mohammad Khalfan was moved to Al Bataeh Team on loan.

In an exclusive press statement to Al Ain Club official website, Abdullah Ali, Al Ain Team Supervisor, confirmed that the pre-season away camp went as planned and players exerted great efforts and exhibited a strong desire to gain benefits as much as they can.

He added: “We should commend their efforts throughout the one-month camp. They did well and exhibited high level of commitment and seriousness.”

Responding to a question on Al Ain Team’s goals for the new season, he said: “It is a fact that Al Ain Club’s goals in each season are always crystal-clear. The team looks forward to completing what they had already started last season, and we are well aware that in the football game, every stage is more difficult than the previous one. The competition next season will be harder, but we are always armed with the support and backing of the loyal Ainawi fans. They are always making the difference when they are behind the team in all stadiums. We pray to Allah Almighty to grant us the best of luck.”

Commenting on the team’s results in the friendly matches as the team won three, lost three and held to draw in one of them, he said: “Actually, when you play friendly matches, you are not focusing on the result but other aspects. These include observing the technical aspects and physical fitness among other things.”

“In this regard, the head coach was keen to give equal opportunities to all team players. Again, the team’s performance cannot be evaluated based on the matches’ results,” he said.

Regarding the team’s program during the next phase, he said: “It is scheduled that the players will be given a 24-hour break after returning to homeland. Then, the team will resume their training sessions as usual. Also, the Boss squad will play two friendly matches before the new season starts. The first one will be against Khorfakkan on Thursday 25 August, and the second will be held on Friday 26 August against the Bahraini Riffa Team.”
