“I am happy with the team’s performance in the first leg match of the President’s Cup,” Sergiy Rebrov stated in the post-match press conference.
He added: “The players showed a great desire to score, but they were not lucky enough to score, and the match ended with a goalless draw.”
Rebrov stressed that the team should prepare well for the second leg match scheduled to be held at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium to win the game and qualify for the final round.
“The most important thing is we did not concede any goal in this away match. We played a good game against a strong team who is one of the top five teams in the state this season,” Rebrov concluded.
