“It is a fact that we missed winning the league title as of matchweek 25 of ADNOC Pro League, but still we must show our team spirit and win our next match against Al Bataeh Team,” Al Ain center back, Rafael Al Pereira stated in the pre-match press conference of the team’s last match in the league held this evening.
Rafael added: “Although it is our last match in the league, but we are always required to win all our matches and will never stop fighting to defend our team’s crest.”
Commending Ainawi Nation, he said: “Ainawi fans are the distinguishing mark of this season through their attendance in massive numbers and exceptional initiatives in all home and away matches. I would like to say that we faced many challenges this season and we learned a lot.”
Pereira concluded his statement saying that the last match against Al Bataeh Team is a good test for the first and second legs of the semifinal matches of ADIB Cup.
