Al Ain Assistant head coach: gains from Dhafra game “great”

Assistant head coach of Al Ain 1st Team Damir Krznar said that the gains of Al Ain has stressed that the Garden City Club has gained a lot from the game against Al Dhafra in the Cup tournament.

We are satisfied with the game result and performance, Krznar, pointing out that all lines of his team did a great performance.

Commenting on the most distinguished gains from the game, the Croatian manager said that giving the opportunity to the alternative players to show such great performance was the best gain today. He also stressed that the three points are very important in the team journey in the cup.

Answering a question about the performance of the players returning from injury, such as Mohammed Fayez and Fawzi Fayez, he said that the two players are taking step by step to clinch places in the starting line-up.

The coach noted that they started the return journey by taking part in games of the second team and today they took part in a game of the Cup. He asserted that they will be ready to join the team main line-up in few weeks.

Asked why Douglas cried after scoring his fourth goal, Krznar said “Actually I did not ask him, but I have to say that he is an excellent player and receives full support from the coaching staff.”

On the performance of the team talisman Omar Abdulrahman in the UAE national team game against Haiti and on Amoory’s readiness for Al Jazira game, Krznar hoped that the team captain would be ready labeling him as “an excellent and professional footballer”.
