Al Ain beaten 1-2 by Dibba
Al Ain suffered today evening a 1-2 home loss to Dibba at Round 18 of the Arabian Gulf League.
After a scoreless half, Caio Luca gave his side a 1-0 lead at 52nd minute. Three minutes later, Dibba caught up thanks to an own goal by Al Ain’s defender Khalid Abdurrahman. Before the game came to an end, the visitors scored and had Al Ain to leave with a 1-2 loss.
It is to be noted that Al Ain players were denied a correct penalty kick by the main referee Adel Al Naqbi and 3 scoring attempts by the goalpost.
The 1-2 score keeps Al Ain ‘temporarily’ in 2nd position with 37 points; while Dibba moved to 13th position with 15 points.
