Al Ain crushes Dhafra 7-1 in Cup
Brazilian Striker Dyanfres Douglas led Al Ain to crush Al Dhafra in the Cup tournament 7-1 at the Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium.
Douglas opened the game with a brace around the half hour mark followed by a third from Caio Lucas minutes later. Douglas then completed his hat-trick before the break and made it four before the hour.
Caio’s brace was complete on 69 minutes before Abdullah Abdul Qader pulled one back for Al Dhafra with four minutes remaining, only for Yousef Ahmad to make it seven before the whistle.
Thanks to the victory, the Garden City Club clinched the second place of the Group A with 4 points.
