Al Ain Fans Always Give the Boss the Upper Hand Over All Opponents.. Saeed Ahmad: We Have a Firm Will to Win Al Wasl at Za’beel Stadium
Al Ain Team’s player Saeed Ahmad confirmed that the team’s preparations for the second leg match of PLC Pro Cup quarterfinals stage against Al Wasl went as planned.
“We all so keen to implement and follow all the head coach’s directives. Indeed, we do know what we are meant to do in the coming match against Al Wasl, given the excellent performance during their recent match. However, Al Ain has crystal-clear goals, that are planning for each match separately and winning the opponent,” Saeed Ahmad stated in the pre-match conference held today to tackle the technical aspects of the second leg match of PLC Pro League.
He pointed out that the draw result of the first leg match pushes the team to play with a high concentration level and the players to push themselves to the limit.
Saeed said: “I believe that all possibilities have the potential to take place in such clash confrontations. However, we would fight hard to win the home team and make them loyal fans happy.”
As for his expectations regarding the number of fans that might attend the coming match, he said: “First of all, I would like to congratulate the Ainawi Nation for winning the Best Fans Award presented to the Club by PLC. Regarding my expectations, I do not doubt that the Ainawi Nation plays a key role in supporting the team’s aspirations and pushing us to achieve positive results.”
He went on to say: “It is not a secret to say that we do not mind whether we are playing at home or away as it is all about the fans who always show their superiority over all other teams’ fans even if we are playing against the home team.”
Saeed Ahmad concluded his statement by expressing his sincere wishes to see a massive number of Al Ain fans and that players would be lucky enough to perform honorably to qualify to the semifinal stage of the PLC Pro Cup.
