AL AIN FC CHAIRMAN HAILS PERFORMANCE OF AL AIN JUNIORS FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT COMMITTEES

HE Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, the Chairman of Al Ain Sports Games Company, has hailed the activities of the committees of the Under 17 Hazza bin Zayed International Football Tournament.

He stressed the importance of adopting the best practices of organizing the largest international tournaments to keep pace with the development and success, especially that the tournament is named after His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Vice-president of the executive board and of the honorary board of Al Ain and Chairman of Board of Directors of the Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, who is the sponsor of the tournament since its launch in 2008 and the founder of success strategy .

The chairman said that the tournament has become the most important event to discover and highlight the UAE talents who had the chance to take part in the competition, mainly Al Ain Captain Omar Abdulrahman, Khaled Abdulrahman, Mohamed Abdulrahman, Bandar Al-Ahbabi, Amer Abdulrahman, Ahmed Barman, Mohamed Saeed Busenda, Yousef Ahmed, Ryan Yslam, Mohsen Adullah, Al Farsi, Al Azizi, Rashed Muhayer, Khaled Khalfan, Mohamed Khalfan, Hussein Abdullah, Ali Eid Ghemeil and Saeed Goma’a as well as other players who got experience and skills in the international tournament.

Targeting the under-17 players to take part in the tournament was meant to improve the players of such category before being comprehensively evaluated to take part in the first teams, in accordance with the international standards, Al Hajeri noted.

Al Hajeri hailed Abu Dhabi Sports Council, under His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the effective contribution to the success of all sporting events in Abu Dhabi.

The main objective of the tournament is to give the chance to Al Ain players to exchange experience with different football styles of play and to promote the international experience of Al Ain player and the tournament’s organizing committees, Al Hajeri noted.

There are other cultural, entertainment and tourist objectives of the tournament, as the participants will visit and get to know the attractions of Al Ain city, promoting the human, cultural and heritage cooperation among peoples in the UAE, the chairman added.

Concluding his statements, Al Hajeri wished happy accommodation to all teams taking part in the Al Ain-based tournament. He also wished that fans and media people would flock to attend and cover the international tournament.
