Sultan Rashed: Organizing Committee Completed All Preparations for U17 Hazza Bin Zayed International Football Tournament 2017

The Organizing Committee of U17 Hazza Bin Zayed International Football Tournament 2017 held its fourth meeting at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club yesterday to discuss all arrangements related to preparations of committees of the 9th International Tournament. This international event is scheduled to be held during 9-14 April at Tahnoun Bin Mohammed stadium in Al Qattara and Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium with the participation of six teams: Valencia Spanish Club, Partizan Serbian Club, Zamalek Egyptian Club, Wydad Athletic Moroccan Club, Athletic Bilbao Spanish Club and Al Ain Club, the organizer of the tournament.”
The meeting was chaired by Sultan Rashid, member of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club Company and the Head of the Organizing Committee and attended by Mr. Husam Saleh, CEO of Al Ain Football Club Company and Head of the Tournament Executive Committee, Mr. Rashed Abdullah, CEO of Al Ain Club for Investment and Head of Operating Committee, Mr. Abdullah Ali, Al Ain FC Academy Administrative Supervisor and Tournament Director, Mr. Ali Khamis, Football Academy Technical Director and Head of the Tournament Technical Committee, Mr. Obaid Al Dhaheri, Head of the Public Relations and Protocol Committee, Mr. Abdullah Khoury, Marketing Committee, Mr. Ahmed Al Shamesi, Referees Committee, Dr. Tawfiq Suleiman, Head of Medical Committee, Mr. Ahmed Hamad Al-Kaabi, Fans Committee, Mr. Mohammed Amir, Security Committee, Mr. Mohamed Zaher, General Coordination and Secretary Committee and Mr. Khalid Mustafa, Media Committee.
Sultan Rashid, Head of Tournament Organizing Committee, praised the efforts of all committees to achieve the tasks vested in them within a short period of time. He stressed that “Preparations for the tournament are afoot, and I believe that this international tournament holds the name of the founder of the successful strategy of UAE football game. It is a fact that excellence that has been always associated with the organization of the “International” Hazza Bin Zayed Football amplifies our responsibilities in the area of adopting the best standards of organization to keep abreast of the other international tournaments with the aim to maintain the high-level of organization of this event compared to the previous editions of the same competition.”
He added, “We stand today on a great threshold of the 9th edition of one of the most successful international football tournaments in the region; a competition which continues to include the best teams from the various football schools being selected according tothought out specifications. We are well aware that each team is looking forward to taking advantage of their participation in the “International” Hazza Bin Zayed Football 2017; a tournament that has gained a widespread name and reputation for its high-level of organization locally, regionally and globally, especially privileged by the unceasing patronage and generous support of His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Rashed highlighted the fact that “The Organizing Committee has approved the participation of six Arab and European clubs: Valencia, Atletico Bilbao of Spain, Partizan Belgrade of Serbia, Zamalek of Egypt and Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco, along with Al Ain, the organizer of the tournament.” “We do hope that each team will achieve the desired results of their participation in the current edition of the international tournament and we wish them a joyful stay in UAE.”
Rashed said that “The International Tournament set off an important stage to assess the administrative, organizational and technical efforts compared to the different football schools, particularly that the most important goals of these football schools are to live through, friction and gain experience in the area of international confrontations. Therefore, I believe that this competition will be a good opportunity to get to know the level of development achieved by the teams of Al Ain Academy compared to the Arab and European clubs. I think the U17 Tournament is still successful in achieving the desired success and the goals of organizing it. All of this was attained as a result of the ideal strategy, patronage and the generous support of His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.”
