H.E. Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman of Al Ain Football Club Company, confirmed the participation of the team’s squad in the 2018 AFC Champions League as a heart-warming competition for Al Ain FC who are the winners of its title on 2003 and be the first club in UAE who earns such a title.

H.E. Al Hajeri stated: “It is irrational that Al Ain FC not participating in continental championships. Also, no Ainawi fan from the Atlantic Ocean to the Arabian Gulf Nation could imagine that this championship will kick off without the participation of one of the most prominent football teams in the continent with long and significant history of playing against Asian football clubs.”

He put the accent on the fact that: “Our goal is not only to participate in the 2018 AFC Champions League, but also to intensely compete to win the title.”

“We have all the incentives to be a superior team. Indeed, Al Ain is “Different” for the huge loyal fans behind the team, and above all is the generous support that the team has always been receiving from the leadership of this lofty entity who blessed and approved the participation of the team in the coming Asian tournament. It will be for sure a stunning motive for the team to succeed in fulfilling their mission,” added he.

H.E. Al Hajeri concluded his statement by accentuating that: “It is common sense that team’s readiness is always enhanced by the fan’s trust and massive support. I do believe that things will be different when the Ainawi Nation attend the matches. We do always bet on the presence and support of the loyal fans to enable the “Boss” to resume their intense shows and be able to achieve the aspirations of team’s leadership, management, players and the loyal fans as well.”
