Al Ain’s goalkeeper Mohammed Saeed Bu Senda confirmed that all the Arabian Gulf Cup matches are looked at as important challenges for non-international players, especially young ones, in view of the fact that the Head Coach gives them the chance to be included in the starting lineup to reveal their real potentials in an official competition.

“From our perspectives, the results of matchweek 1 and 2 were not satisfactory. Consequently, we need to play in matchweek 3 remarkably and be able to achieve the significant with all due respect to Al Dhafra FC,” said Bu Senda.

Responding to a question on the impact of the absence of international players while playing against full-fledged team, he said “The absence of international players is certainly influential, and do not forget the injured players, the most recent case is Shiotani who underwent a successful shoulder surgery. However, Al Ain proved to overcome all frustrates for nothing except we are Al Ain.”

He added: “Players will play with high concentration and be accountable and enjoy the strong desire to achieve the best results while defending the Boss’ logo.”
