Al Ain Hails UAFA Initiative.. Al Hajeri: Late Sheikh Zayed’s Vision Inspires All Generations
H.E. Ghanem Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman of Al Ain Club Football Company, stated that the decision taken by H.E. Consultant Turki Al Al-Sheikh, President of the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA), to name the current edition of Arab Club Champions Cup “Zayed Club Champions Cup” is a sign of recognition and appreciation enjoyed by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. “It is the time-honoured values and human principles established by the late founder of UAE which represent the wisdom, pride and honour approach of rule that make late Sheikh Zayed unforgettable. They also reflect our love and deep respect for all what he did to uphold the Arab nation status and empowering the youth to play their role in the society. Sheikh Zayed offered the youth valuable opportunities to fulfil their passion in practising their role the society to serve their homeland and be loyal to their wise leadership of our beloved country,” he stated.
Al Hajeri pointed out that Al Ain Club appreciates such an impressive step made by the UAFA in recognition of the efforts of late founding father who instilled in all the nation the true love for the homeland and its wise leadership. He hailed also the immense efforts exerted by the UAFA to support and further improve the current edition of the “Zayed Club Champions Cup” through adopting the constructive ideas that definitely pave the way to achieve the pre-set goals of the championship. “Goals of the current championship are made possible to be achieved considering the immense interest shown by the Arab football clubs to make it a successful one. All participating clubs agreed to be part of this championship as it is not a mere football championship, but a way to boost the sport relationships among the Arab countries and clubs and to enhance Arab rapprochement based on the joint relationships among the Arab youth.”
Al Hajeri underlined the importance to support initiatives and ideas that are in the interest of the championship considering the goals to be fulfilled which triggered the idea to launch it in its new edition. He concluded his statement by hailing the vision of the officials of the UAFA are so keen to support the success of all Arab football championships.
