Al Ain trains in a cold night in Tashkent
In a cold weather where the temperature may drop to 4 C°, Al Ain is set to take tonight its pre-match training at the Uzbek Bunyodkor Stadium at 18:00 (17:00 Abu Dhabi local time) in preparation for tomorrow’s encounter with the Uzbek Bunyodkor at the same time of tonight’s training at Round 2 of the Group Stage of 2017 AFC Champions League.
With a tally of 1 point gained from a 1-1 draw with the Iranian Zob Ahan Esfahan at Round 1, Al Ain is intent on winning tomorrow’s encounter to increase its chances of moving to the next stage and in line with its image as one of Asia’s top score-holders. Meanwhile, the hosts, relying on their home advantage, will try their best to recoup their last 0-2 loss to the Saudi Al Ahli that left them at the bottom of the table with a null tally.
Meeting & Press Conference
The technical meeting of the match will be held today morning at 10:00. Headed by the Maldivian Match Commissioner Abdulghfoor Abdulhamid, the meeting will be attended by the Iranian Referee Observer Ismail Safeeri, the representatives of both competing teams in addition to the match officials.
The pre-match press conference will be held at 11:15 where the leader and one player of each team will sign the attendance sheet and talk to the press.
