Matar Obaid Al Dhaheri, Manager of Al Ain FC, stated that all arrangements for the “The Boss” delegation trip to South Korea that is headed by HE Mohammed Obaid “Hammad”, Board Member of Al Ain FC and the first team’s supervisor are finalized, explaining that the delegation leaves on a private jet from Al Bateen Executive Airport at 12 a.m.,  on a trip that lasts for around 12 hours.

“Al Ain FC will conduct 3 training sessions before playing against the South Korean Jeonbuk in the city of Jeonju.” Al Sahbani said, “The first session will take place as soon as the team arrives at the hotel, while the second will be held on Thursday night in the Jeonju Stadium Football Complex, where the Knock-out Stage game will be played according to the AFC Champions League schedule.”

In his response to a question about the AFC turning down Al Ain FC’s request to move the game’s location to Seoul, Al Sahbani said, “It’s a sure thing that the team which came so far in one of the toughest championships in Asia won’t make excuses and will achieve their goals which are only 180 minutes away. The request of Al Ain FC’s management was in the favor of the championship, given that the stadium isn’t suitable for hosting the finals of the AFC Champions League in the first place, but we are well-aware that there should be no excuses and we will face the challenge no matter what.”

“We are going to South Korea with extreme confidence and great desire. For us, the sky has no limit, and we will return home with great outcome given a number of facts—on top of them is the high patronage granted to the club by our wise leadership, the great potential of The Boss’ players, the extraordinary support of Al Ain FC’s loyal fans and the prayers of children, women and men.” He added.

“It is no secret that the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, President of Al Ain Club and its Honorary Council, which included flying Al Ain FC’s fans—who are keen on supporting the team in South Korea—in a private aircraft, brought back great memories of this great sports entity’s journey and urged every player to double his efforts and embrace continental glory.” He added.

“Everyone is aware that Al Ain FC is demanded to, again, win the Asian championship, and we highly believe in the potential of our players, because they deserve having their years of hard work pay off and win a continental championship, which will be added to their record of achievements. They are quite professional, smart, disciplined and are capable of dealing with all kinds of pressure till they bring joy and happiness to everyone anticipating their victory.” He continued.

“The pressure created by circumstances around continental championships further motivates our stars and encourage them to beat challenges with their skills and potential, and that is because they believe football always rewards those who play it best and cannot be influenced by factors outside the green pitch, since they can overcome all challenges.” Al Dahri concluded.
