Al Enezi: We are determined to reach the final
Mohamed Al Enezi, Al Ain and the National team defender, said that today’s game against El Jaish of Qatar in the first leg of AFC semifinals would be challenging for both teams. “We know it won’t be easy to defeat them, but we are determined to achieve our goal of reaching the final. Therefore, we should fight powerfully on the field to achieve a good result that would ensure us an easy second-leg game in Doha. This requires us to be careful, maintain concentration and follow the coach’s instructions on the field”, he added.
Al Enezi confirmed that it was hard for all Al Ain fans to see their team knocked out by Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia in the semifinals of the same competition two years ago. “However, the dream is back. We learned a lesson and we will do our best for that not to happen again. Our team is currently in their best condition, and all players have high spirits and are determined to win the title and not only reach the final”, he concluded.
