Manager of Al Ain First Team, Matar Al Sahbani, stated that the Management of the Club is contented and at ease as the players are well aware of the importance of the coming match against Esteghlal Tehran and that they have no option but to win. He addressed his advice to them to be highly focused during the whole minutes of the match and not give the opponent team any space to return to the game, specifically if Al Ain takes the lead and score a goal or two clean goals. He went on to say, “We all have to realize that this confrontation will not be an easy one by all standards. Yet, as we have already undertaken, deeds on the pitch are required and not only words. During the training sessions, players pledged to finish this match by a positive result in favor of the team that will make not only Al Ain City happy, but also all the whole sports arena.”

He added, “The Iranian team will play this match taking the lead by the goal they scored in the first leg match. However, we will be able to compensate this goal by getting hold of the fighting spirit, enthusiasm, stamina, determination and the players ‘love of the logo of their club.” He advised the players by saying, “The opponent team has to come out of Hazza bin Zayed Stadium as a looser so that Al Ain would qualify to the quarterfinals of the AFC Championships League.”

He concluded his statement by saying, “Al Ain’s fans are dedicated, loyal and love their team and stand next to the players wherever they travel. Indeed, the fans are the team’s safety valve, the fact that proves that there is no need to extend invitation for them to be available in the stands of the stadium. Yet, I hope that they will attend intensely to support the players. We do want to show the Iranian team and their fans our response on the pitch. Our role as administrative officers is to focus on the players, and the players, admin staff, technical staff and supporters have to have hands on hands to win the match.”
