Happiness indicators in football are shaped by strong results

Al Ain is qualified to compete for all titles, we realize the task will be difficult

No new players needed at the moment, and my players perform satisfactorily

The Boss is now more powerful, and offensively effective, balance is required in the team’s collective system

In camp, we could prepare strong team capable of pleasing Al Ain fans

Club’s working mechanism is perfect, embodying true concepts of professionalism

Alfred Schreuder, Dutch Coach of Al Ain FC, said, in statements to the Club’s official website, at the end of the external camp period: “We spent three weeks in Spain, working hard to prepare a team capable of addressing challenges and performing in games as expected and aspired by its fans. Everyone is well aware of what they are required to do by demonstrating their fighting spirit for victory, making defeat out of the way”.

“The first two friendly games went easy in the camp, but the last two ones were not. Al Ain FC team is now become more powerful, especially in terms of offense. In our third game, winning was a must, and the team struggled until it managed to achieve its goal. We are always eager to demonstrate strong desire to win,” he added.

Asked about how far his team is ready for the start of the season after the end of the camp period, he said: “I am very happy with the team’s performance in the camp, as we have taken good moves in the readiness rate during the present. We gradually started playing with 60 minutes for each player on the team list, up to 75 minutes, and now we have to play 90 minutes. By then, we will have reached the degree of readiness required for our blastoff in the league competition. We do not stop training and engage in friendly games according to our preparatory program, and in two weeks, we will be ready for the league, as I said earlier”.

On the Club’s plans to take a citizen or resident player after foreign players file closed, Schreuder said: “I do not think we are going with it now, though we always discuss it. At the moment, no new players needed because we are fine with the players we have. I believe this is what we shall eye in the next two friendly games”.

“Everyone here is happy to work in Al Ain Club, because we are so proud of our affiliation with such a very wonderful and big club. Fans too are so proud of their great team because it is the best in football. I told Spanish newspapers that I came to Al Ain for win, and we are currently focusing on preparing the team to achieve its goals and please its fans. Everyone works hard to maintain their position on the list of squad choices, which is positive,” he said.

He added: “Only strong results will shape the happiness of the coach, players, staff and fans. The way we work at Al Ain Club with the team, staff and management is pretty special, and I am very happy with that”.

He wrapped up saying: “For me, it is always good to play while fans are there. First and foremost, we play football for the fans, especially in a club as Al Ain, which has a tremendous fan base. I look forward to seeing them in the stadium always in both friendly and official games, and I know that they are always there to support their beloved team in all its challenges”.
