Al-Ain Dutch coach, Alfred Schreuder expressed his happiness with the result of his team’s match against Al Fayha, stating that: “Our opponent was a strong and organized team, but we delivered a good performance and deservedly won against them”.

During the post-match press conference, Schreuder emphasized that the game started with a slow rhythm between both teams due to cautiousness and analyzing the opponent’s style. However, we managed to score two goals in the last quarter of the first half, but then we retreated and I wasn’t satisfied with that, so I talked to the players about it during the halftime break.

“At the beginning of the second half, we managed to control over the game and added the third goal. Even after conceding a goal due to a goalkeeper’s error, we were able to get back and score the fourth goal, which made me very happy”, He continued.

Replying to a question about his message to Khaled Issa after the match, he said, “Honestly, I wasn’t satisfied with the error and talked to the goalkeeper Khaled Issa about it because we always strive to deliver the best performance and show our best level.”
