Omar Abdurrahman, Al Ain FC captain and a nominee for “The Best Player of Asia’ title this year, described the AFC final against Jeonbuk as the “game of all games”, vowing that he and his teammates will spare no efforts to win the Asian title and make history along with their predecessors who had won the 2003 edition against Tero Sasana of Malaysia.

He reminded that Al Ain FC was not bad at the first-leg; “We scored the lead but then conceived two goals. This is fairly good. Today, we are capable of winning, and will do our best to meet the expectations of our Sheikhs and fans.”

He promised that all the players will fight and play their best to make the dream come true; “We look forward to be named on the Honor List next to our predecessors who won the 2003 title; so we’ll be proudly remembered by everyone,” he confirmed.

He reminded that in the first-leg he was closely watched but managed to create some scoring opportunities including the leading goal; “I expect the same watch in today’s match, but I won’t give up”.
“We feel it’s our responsibility to win the title today. The training camp was positive and cheerful so we don’t want to overstress ourselves.” He concluded.
