‘Amouri’ highlighted by the Singaporean media
Omar Abdurrahman, the Asian Footballer of the Year and the playmaker of Al Ain and UAE National team, was unanimously chosen by a Singaporean newspaper to be interviewed on his career and football in UAE.
“Though the Asian football is not widely covered in the Singaporean press, the brilliance of ‘Amouri’ convinced us to take a flight for seven and a half hours in order to start this coverage beginning with the well-advanced football of UAE,” explained Jane Tan, a Singaporean journalist.
“From my perspective,” he continued, “the Asian and in particular the Emirati football has recently made a significant progress which was so attractive to us to introduce to our readers the success story made by Al Ain team led by ‘Amouri’.
