Al Ain FC is scheduled to conduct their last training today at 7:00 pm Seoul local time (2:00 pm Abu Dhabi time) at Jeonju Stadium, about one and a half hour by bus away from Al Ain FC hosted hotel, in preparation for the AFC Champions League first-leg final versus Jeonbuk.

Anxious to have his men comfortable and well-prepared for the encounter after a busy game schedule and long flight to South Korea, the Croatian coach Zlatko Dalić gave his players a short training session before yesterday at Sanjung Dong playground, just 20 minute-bus ride from their hotel, and gave a break to his three ‘international’ players Omar Abdurrahman, Mohannad Salem Al Enezi and Ismail Ahmad.

The AFC scheduled the match technical meeting tomorrow morning at 10 at the Conference Room at Jeonju Stadium and the pre-match press conference at 3:00 afternoon to be held by the coach and a player from the starting lineup of each team.

H.E Mohamed Obeid ‘Hammad’ Al Ain FC Board Member and the Team Supervisor said that the three ‘international’ players were in need of a break following their massive efforts when they played with the UAE National Team, but he added that “They will course join the team during the last rehearsal training tonight at Jeonju Stadium which will host the first-leg.”

UAE Ambassadors
The private jet ordered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and President of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club and President of its Honorary Council, to carry Al Ain FC fans to South Korea is expected to arrive at Seoul International Airport today at 9 pm.

In coordination with the UAE embassy in Seoul, Al Ain FC Club Fans Association has arranged the logistics of a full-board accommodation in one of Seoul 5-star hotels for Al Ain FC delegation.

The Office distributed a Guidebook prepared by Al Ain Sports & Cultural Club to guide the fans who came to South Korea to cheer for their team match versus Jeonbuk along with a detailed timetable that includes the transportation timings to drive to and from Jeonju Stadium and back to the airport.

In an article entitled ‘UAE Ambassadors’ in the Guidebook, H.E Ghanem Mubarak Al Hajeri, Al Ain FC Company Chairman, wrote the following:

“Through their extraordinary initiatives, Al Ain fans have set a good example of sporting spirit, belonging and loyalty to Al Ain Emblem as well as unshakeable support to the players in all matches inside and outside UAE. Their example deserves to be followed by all their local and continental competitors and to be a source of pride for each member of Al Ain Club.

As UAE nationals with a great sense of responsibility for our cherished country, we must be aware to represent our country properly whenever we visit any other country; in other words, each one of us, whether an administrative or technical staff, player or fan, must act as an ambassador of the UAE.

I kindly request each one to fully comply with the guidelines set by UAE embassy in South Korea and with the timetable set by Al Ain Fans association to ensure your security and safety.

Hopefully, our team will fare well with a good result that can enhance their winning opportunity at the second-leg at one of the world’s best stadiums back home. I wish you all the best.”
