During his long career, Ahmad came to know many of Al Ain FC stars, players and witnessed many happy moments, notably winning the 2003 AFC title and advancing to the 2005 final match as well.

He assisted many coaches of Al Ain FC including the French Bruno Metsu who led Al Ain FC to the 2003 AFC champion’s league title and the Czech Milan Máčala who led the team to the 2005 finals.

In his interview, Ahmad described Omar Abdurrahman as the best player he has ever seen; “He’s one of the top players not in Asia alone but in the world too. Thanks to his interesting style of play, I’m sure Omar is liked to be watched not by Al Ain FC or UAE fans only but also by all football lovers around the world,” Ahmad said.

“Omar will end up his current amazing season by hoisting the AFC trophy and will give a push to the UAE National team in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.” He added

Ahmad drew attention to the great job done by Coach Zlatko Dalić; “When he took over Al Ain FC in 2014, Al Ain FC was not in a good position, but he soon managed to make a significant difference and led us to winning the AGL title and the President’s cup,” Ahmed continued.

Ahmad reminded that Zlatko pushed Al Ain FC to reach the finals of AFC Chamions league in 2016 edition, a step further than the semifinals two years ago; “He’s doing a great job and we hope he’ll keep it up.” Ahmed concluded.
